Psychological Therapies

At My Calm Therapy, we really care about getting to know you and building a safe therapeutic relationship. We do this by getting to know the whole picture around you, including thinking about your culture, generational patterns, and lifestyle.

Doing this helps us to try and see the world through your eyes and helps us tailor our approach to suit you. We are trained in different types of therapy, which are all based on clinical and research evidence. Your psychologist will work with you to get to know you and your needs, and decide which therapeutic approach would suit you best.

Some of the types of therapies we offer are:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Family Therapy
  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
