What does the assessment involve?
1. Welcome & Screening A free 15-minute phone or video call to answer questions and ensure our service is right for you. If suitable, we will send our full set of screening and referral forms—including forms for parents and for school, education, or work settings. Our team will then review all information and confirm whether a full assessment is indicated. 15 mins Online/Phone
2. Developmental History Interview An in‑depth conversation with a parent, carer, or other informant covering early development, education, and everyday life. 1.5 hours Online (video)
3. Individual Assessment Autism: ADOS‑2 or play/interaction‑based observation.ADHD: Structured clinical interview, attention tasks, and rating scales.Our clinicians may also liaise with school or college if helpful. 1.5 – 2 hours East London clinic (in‑person)
4. Team Formulation Our multidisciplinary team meets to review all data, questionnaires, and observations, agreeing on conclusions and recommendations. — Internal
5. Feedback Session We share the outcome, explain any diagnosis, and talk through personalised support strategies. Plenty of time for your questions. 1 hour Online or Clinic
6. Comprehensive Report You receive a detailed written report—including background, assessment results, clinical formulation, and practical recommendations for home, education, and future therapy. Within 3 weeks Secure PDF

Can I self-refer? Yes. We also accept referrals from GPs, schools, and other professionals.
Will this assessment be recognised by schools and the NHS? Yes. Our process, team qualifications, and use of validated tools (such as ADOS-2) meet NICE standards and are widely accepted.
Do you see clients outside East London? Absolutely—anyone aged 8-25 is welcome. Please note that the individual assessment stage is in person at our East London clinic.
